Every single time I finish watching Hannibal, two things happen.

1. I want to start over, immediately

2. I won’t touch any other series for days

And then I’ll get over it and rewatch one of my other three favourite series that I watch religiously.

It’s not like I have a loong list of series I’ve yet to see or anything 🙄

I’ve just listened to songs from Pray for the Wicked that I haven’t heard before, and so far, “Roaring 20ies” is my favourite of the bunch (except “(Fuck) A Silver Lining” and “High Hopes” but these two have a bit of a mileage lol). It reminds me of certain songs from Glory Days by Little Mix, along with “King of the Clouds”.
I was very excited to hear what “Hey Look Ma, I Made It” sounded like, and I probably hyped myself up too much because I was disappointed. It’s not bad, but compared to the others, it’s pretty ‘meh’.
I love how unorthodox “Old Fashioned” is; while listening for the first time, I could not predict what turn it was gonna take, even in the second, usually repetitive half of the song.
Brendon did an excellent job; I love how diverse the sound is but at the same time you can hear that the songs are interwoven underneath. I also love that it’s a very upbeat album, because it makes me cherish “Dying in LA” as the only ballad even more.
I’m gonna listen to the album as a whole now and marvel at the brilliance of our lord and saviour Beebo some more.

I saw this post on my dashboard, and since I love music and like to annoy people with it sometimes, I thought I’d do this challenge:

10 songs on shuffle, choose lyrics!

1) Bastille, “Weight of Living, Pt. II”

All that you desired when you were a child
Was to be old, was to be old
Now that you are here suddenly you fear
You’ve lost control, you’ve lost control
Do you like the person you’ve become …

2) Cheryl, “Girl in the Mirror”

There’s many things that run and pass through my mind
It’s hard to show when you’re the only one with your eyes

and

When I’m weak all I seem to do is fight
There’s many ways that I could say I’m not fine
Still, I hold it back with water filling my eyes

3) The Score, “Believe”

When it comes without warning
The silence drags you down under the tide
When your whole world is jaded
When your colors are faded
And nothing but your shadow’s on your side

and

You feel suffocated
So once celebrated
And the person that you were you cannot find

4) Delta Spirit, “Into the Darkness”

Into the darkness we all go
Out of the white light and the friends you know

and

All men’s thoughts can kill you like cancer
They smash through your head like a German Panzer

5) Zayn, “lUcOzAdE”

Ain’t about who’s winning or losin’
It’s bout the path you’re choosin’
Time heals pain and promotes self-soothing
When the scars are gone, you can’t see bruising

6)
Panic! at the Disco, “The End of All Things”

In these coming years
Many things will change
But the way I feel
Will remain the same

7) Little Mix, “These Four Walls”

I feel so numb staring at the shower wall
It’s begun, the feeling that the end has come
And now the water’s cold

8) One Direction, “Ready to Run”

There’s a lightning in your eyes, I can’t deny
Then there’s me inside a sinking boat, running out of time

and

There’s a moment when you finally realise, there’s no way you can change the rolling tide
But I know, yes I know that I’ll be fine

and

I’d give everything that I’ve got for your love

9) Fleet Foxes, “Drops in the River”

Days are just drops in the river to be lost always

and

On the shore, speak to the ocean and receive silence

10) Ed Sheeran ft. Wiley, “You”

Can I be free for a minute? Can I be me for a minute?
The thoughts I have can be dark ones, even be smart ones
I know I’m gonna have a couple straight from the heart ones

and

And when the sun falls down I’ll be up again, and never close my eyes
And if the dawn might break I’ll see nothing when, nothing when my thoughts are only you, and my mind is over you

These are what my shuffle came up with, I listen to a lot of them fairly often.

Whoever wants, can and should do this challenge 🙂

I just started watching American Gods and oh my god, I might be in love soon.

That dream sequence in the first episode is so good. Shadow Moon is definitely Will Graham 2.0 lol

The visuals, the sound effects and music, the dialogue, I love it all. Bryan Fuller is a godsend. I also feel like I’m gonna love Ian McShane even more.

My friend is currently in the middle of a break-up, and my ugly ass brain decided to insert a very inaproppriate parallel to this scene from Thor: Ragnarok.
My friend is Hulk, her ex is Loki, and her current boyfriend is Thor
And I’m here ugly wailing/laughing because it’s funny and I’m a bad person.
The only thing that makes me feel better is the knowledge that she’d appreciate the joke.
