Just wanted to add that yes, I know christmas traditionally only starts at midnight on Christmas Day, that advent is the fast period before christmas (40 days, as with Easter, so after St. Martin’s day on Nov. 11th. But things changed so much, noone is fasting anymore, so th former feast of St. Nicolas on dec. 6th is not longer breaking fast, as is St. Lucia on dec. 13th. As so many things got comercialized and we don’t do thanksgiving like the Americans do, let us start prparing for christmas whenever we want (though Nov. 12th is the offcial start of the prep.)
