my dad died from cancer and now im struggling to pay my bills + my disabled mom’s. she runs a small stand on the side of the road selling fruit and peanuts and has to have her car for it, but it’s literally falling apart. anything helps in making bills and she needs repairs on her car to keep it running.

Okay, I know that a good majority of us read fanfic. And AO3 is quite popular, I love that site.
I recently just came across a site on my laptop while I was looking some klance fics to read. I found one and clicked on the link which said it was an AO3 fanfic. Norton Security prevented me from accessing the site because it ‘may be impersonating AO3 to steal your personal or financial information’
If you find a link to a fanfic and it has ‘www.archiveofourown.com’ run for the hills. The true AO3 is .org not .com. It may seem obvious but it’s pretty easy to miss. Just letting all my fellow fanfic addicts out there know that there is a scammer.
I’m trying to tag all the fandoms I’m in so that those people are aware.
What kind of person impersonates a well known fanfic site to steal information. Such a heinous crime. I will admit, this person was pretty smart. All kinds of people read fanfics, especially teenagers. Just think of that and how easy it would be.
Please reblog to every fandom and if you find any other fanfic sites being impersonated please add them to this post. Some of us fanfic readers are close to being adults or are already adults, but there are still twelve year olds and younger who don’t pay attention to things they find on the internet.
If you’re European, in a couple of weeks you will be denied any and all access to fandom contents on Tumblr and everywhere else on the internet. Here’s why.
On June, 20th the JURI of European Parliament approved of the articles 11 and 13 of the new Copyright Law. These articles are also known as the “Link Tax” and the “Censorship Machines” articles.
Articles 13 in particular forces every internet platform to filter all the contents we upload online, ending once and for all the fandom culture. Which means you won’t be able to upload any type of fandom works like fan arts, fan fictions, gif sets from your favourite films and series, edits, because it’s all copyrighted material. And you won’t also be able to share, enjoy or download other’s contents, because the use of links will be completely restricted.
But not everything’s lost yet. There’s another round of voting scheduled for the early days of July.
What you can do now to save our internet, is to share these informations with all of your family members and friends, and to ask to your MEP (the members of the European Parliament from your country) to vote NO at the next round, to vote against articles 11 and 13.

Kids are putting Drano, tin foil, and a little water in plastic drink bottles and capping it up – leaving it on lawns, in mail boxes, in gardens, on driveways etc. just waiting for you to pick it up intending to put it in the rubbish, but you’ll never make it!!!
If the bottle is picked up, and the bottle is shaken even just a little – in about 30 seconds or less it builds up enough gas which then explodes with enough force to remove some your extremities. The liquid that comes out is boiling hot as well.
Don’t pick up any plastic bottles that may be lying in your yards or in the gutter, etc.
Pay attention to this. A plastic bottle with a cap. A little Drano. A little water. A small piece of foil. Disturb it by moving it; and BOOM!! No fingers left and other serious effects to your face, eyes, etc.
Please ensure that everyone that may not have email access are also informed of this.
Clear the area around it. It will explode on its own in time.
Once it explodes, do not make contact with the liquid inside. If needed, flush it away with large amounts of water.
Do not try to detonate it. You’ll probably be disfigured.
I’ve seen what these can do. The acidic liquid inside can strip the paint off a car.

i found one in my back yard, when i let my dogs out, i pulled them back inside, took my cousins bb shotgun and shot it from a safe distance (i was in my house and shot from the screen door. When it went off, my family and neighbors came running to see if everything was ok. I told them what happened and to watch out for them.
These things are not a joke! When we went to check the damage there was a fucking hole in the ground. The dirt in my yard is like CLAY.

We all
need Hannibal to continue its Seasons like rightfully deserves, turns out we
can’t just wait to see what happens when Amazon’s license expires, by then Netflix executives might have forgot, because
they only would pick up a show to make it an
original if they see a constant and big demand, which means a big benefit for
them in subscriptions.
Netflix
employees themselves are telling us if we want this to happen, we have to make
it into a movement, until they have so many requests from different people
every week that they see many people is going to subscribe and stay
just for Hannibal, Netflix executives want proof.
They don’t pick up any show
that shows demand just one day or during a week.
We are
lucky because the show we love is in a different level of quality, and we’re many around the world for a private
channel like Netflix that makes the money from views and subscriptions. We have
already as many online interactions as many successful shows.
Turns out
from now on, Netflix is global, is everywhere, which work great for us
to make requests in their chat service all around
the world.
We can
guarantee to them millions of subscriptions around the world if they pick up
Hannibal, and that we will stay for Hannibal. If they receive a lot of requests from now
on in every country with Netflix every week, they will see there’s business for
them. They
barely have subscriptions in countries like France because their programming is
lousy, what about thousands and thousands of requests on Netflix France every
week showing that Netflix France is going to be a success only with
subscriptions for Hannibal? And so on in every country.
Bryan
Fuller said the best thing we can do for the show to continue is stay loud, making this system of chats requests into
a big coordinate movement every week this year, is the way to go to make Hannibal continue, the
audience has the last word when you can put your money to make it happen, on
NBC it was everything about “live” publicity, not much we could do there
(even so, we did everything we could, like turning the Hannibal following into the
big online movement that is today, thanks to every single one
of us).
The
reality is that Bryan and their team and the cast need us to make the renewal of Hannibal
possible, to
receive good offers from channels and make Hannibal the big boom that it
deserves to be.
We can say we will throw all
the money for Hannibal to continue, but they want to see a big movement of
interactions to see we are real about it.
To make
it very clear, it can only happen if we do this, constant interactions with the channels, Hannibal need us to make it happen.
The best part of it, is that
is not a difficult thing to do, it takes 2 minutes to make a chat request to
Netflix, is not about big individual efforts, is about quantity of people doing
it every week.
As
important as these interactions with Netflix are, we can’t put it all in a same
place, Hannibal is too important for that.
We need a consistent plan, so here’s
what we are going to do:
As you
probably know Mondays for Fannibals are Mads Monday, so one of the
times you tweet or post a picture of Mads, you make a 2 minutes chat request to Netflix, then do a
screenshot and tweet it or post it under #SaveHannibal so everybody sees what
we’re doing.
Is like
applying for a job you need once a week, but easier because you just have to
say “I have a programming request, Hannibal Season 4”; that’s literally it,
doesn’t matter what Netflix employees say back to you about licenses or that
they feel like saying they are too Fannibals that day, whatever, what matters
here is that they have to take every request. After a consistent number of
requests every week everywhere, I guarantee you, we’ll succeed, we’re 5 millions around the world at the least and
making new fans every day.
More perks:
–You don’t
need to have Netflix to do the request so if you are not subscribed, specify
them in the request, if you want, that you will subscribe exclusively for
Hannibal.
-If you are
subscribed, specify that you will stay forever if they pick up Hannibal as an
original Netflix series.
–You don’t have
to give any data, any personal information to do the request.
Tuesdays
as you might know, are Hugh Tuesday: One of the times you tweet
or post a pic of Hugh, take 2 minutes to send an email to Hulu saying “I have a
programming request, Hannibal S4”, no need to say more if you don’ t want to or
don’t have time. Take a screenshot of your email and tweet or post It under
#SaveHannibal, everybody needs to see it to create a big chain every week.
Wednesdays are now Sky Living Wednesdays:
–Send them an email every Wednesday saying you want them to renew Hannibal for S4; doesn’t matter what they say back, it can change when they receive thousands and thousands every week.

for other channels that might be interested with our weekly interactions, we

first time we came all together on Twitter to Save Hannibal, Bryan and the cast

that loves Hannibal and need it to continue needs to do this, let’s do it all

One of the latest proofs we have (if we needed any) of the death of conservative networks like NBC, that bases their renewals and cancellations exclusively in “live” ratings and live publicity (which is absurd when story telling shows are not being emitted live), here’s an article aboutNBC trying to find out Netflix’ system of ratings in the most pathetic way. Read it, it really say all on why this cancellation is not Hannibal’s fault and we’re going to succeed.
In anothernote, FOX has been the first network to drop live ratings for TV shows, I mean, FOX. Even they know that boat is sinking.
As a Fannibal friend pointed out, Netflix was laughed at, at first, when they came with a new whole system to support shows and grow more and more in audience. They laughed, now Netflix is the first option for TV shows, now they shitting their pants.
Hannibal is great to stream, I
have seen many people saying they can’t just watch one or two, people loves
seeing Hannibal on Netflix.
If you
don’t do it because you think it won’t make any difference, then it won’t
happen. We have realistic methods with a heartfelt goal.
It can happen if we get all on board, because we need to do this to make it happen, cynical or defeated attitude will take us nowhere.
