Welp, it’s been one hell of a ride! Thank you to everyone who stuck with me from the first chapter to the last, and to those of you we snagged in along the way! You all have been the absolute best, the most patient, and most supportive Fannibal Family I could have asked for and I love you all to bits!
“Will, no,” Hannibal wept, smoothing his still, cold face, unable to bring himself to do what he knew he must in order to save their child.
Take the baby and risk losing Will in the process.
But he couldn’t. He couldn’t.
He would save him, as he hadn’t been able to save Melinda. He would bring his mate through this, his ferocious and unpredictable Omega who had fought to sheer exhaustion and, perhaps, hadn’t the strength to fight any longer.
“You’re my husband, Will. Your battles are my battles, just as mine are yours, remember?” he whispered, his words as urgent as the kisses he pressed to his mate’s cold, stiff fingers. “And when you tire, I fight in your place, as you would in mine. I said before there is no weakness in tiring, having fought for so long. I will fight for you, Will, always and forever.”

Everyone stay calm IT’S HAPPENING
you know what I just found out this exists, read the summary (which was right up my alley btw), saw it’s loooong af, but it’s not like I have work to do amirite
I never liked the idea of Will’s dad being a jerk,(like he is in ALL fics) I always thought he was just a guy that didn’t know how to express his love for his son in more open ways, after all Will never talked in a bad way about him, and even some of the things he loves are things his dad taught him.
I ended up joking over twitter that his dad was Ron bc they share many hobbies and the way they live, and well a joke led up to this…(Hannigram are still on the run tho but Ron doesn’t watch tv and lives in the middle of nowhere so he doesn’t know/care his son-in-law is a serial killer)
Hannibal will never let Will live down that his dad accepted him officially, Will regrets it so much
Bonus (how do you know what human meat tastes like wtf?!?!)
Will lays the back of his hand against Hannibal’s forehead. “You’re burning up,” he says.
Hannibal’s eyes flutter open. For all their glassy sheen, they are still lucid. “Will,” he acknowledges. Neither a question nor a plea.
Will sighs through his nose, looks over his shoulder toward the bathroom. He turns back to Hannibal, opens his mouth to say something, shuts it again. Reluctantly leaves Hannibal’s bedside and strides with resolute purpose to the medicine cabinet in the bathroom. Paws through it impatiently, coming up with a thermometer at last. Returns to the bedroom and brandishes the thermometer at Hannibal.
“Come on,” he instructs; “open up.”
Hannibal’s face remains placid, but Will senses a glare nonetheless. Will hands over the thermometer and lets Hannibal place it in his own mouth, tucking it under his tongue. They sit in silence.
The thermometer beeps. Will accepts it back from Hannibal, looks down at the reading. “One oh…” his brows knit together. “One oh three.” His eyes flick back to Hannibal’s face, taking in the florid skin, the sheen of sweat, the hair plastered to his forehead. “We’ve got to cool you down.”
