Okay, I know that a good majority of us read fanfic. And AO3 is quite popular, I love that site.
I recently just came across a site on my laptop while I was looking some klance fics to read. I found one and clicked on the link which said it was an AO3 fanfic. Norton Security prevented me from accessing the site because it ‘may be impersonating AO3 to steal your personal or financial information’
If you find a link to a fanfic and it has ‘www.archiveofourown.com’ run for the hills. The true AO3 is .org not .com. It may seem obvious but it’s pretty easy to miss. Just letting all my fellow fanfic addicts out there know that there is a scammer.
I’m trying to tag all the fandoms I’m in so that those people are aware.
What kind of person impersonates a well known fanfic site to steal information. Such a heinous crime. I will admit, this person was pretty smart. All kinds of people read fanfics, especially teenagers. Just think of that and how easy it would be.
Please reblog to every fandom and if you find any other fanfic sites being impersonated please add them to this post. Some of us fanfic readers are close to being adults or are already adults, but there are still twelve year olds and younger who don’t pay attention to things they find on the internet.

okay we gonna do this because Sam is a reckless motherfucker that absolutely mirrors Steve’s characterization and i’m goddamn tired of people grossly misinterpreting his character b/c it fits in better with their two dimensional therapy dog version of him
Sam doesn’t like taking orders, he’s not pliant or obedient. He does what he believes is right and damn the rules (sound familiar??). Theres a reason they fucking hit it off so well right from the start.
Following that we have Steve turning up on his doorstep looking like a building got dropped on him. And what does Sam do?
Yeah sure… I’ll let a couple of avengers who just told me everybody is out to kill them into my house. Sounds like a good time. It’s also a bit telling that Sam knows exactly where his suit is. Ten bucks says he’s actually tried to steal it before but couldn’t quite manage it on his own.
And then we start getting into really no holds bar Sam:

Oh and remember that building that Steve jumped out of? Might as well top that by jumping out of the same one, just about 20 stories up.

So to everyone who trashes him, or does him a disservice by making him out to be nothing more than a therapist who can fix Bucky and Steve I have one thing to say. In the immortal words of the legend Samuel Thomas Wilson himself, “Man, shut the hell up.”
Please don’t call yourself a Misha fan if you get mad and hate on Jared and Jensen for not being political activists. Not everyone has to be just like Misha.
Please don’t call yourself a Jared fan if you hate on his wife, hate on his friends, or have a meltdown everytime someone praises Misha and Jensen intstead of Jared.
Please don’t call yourself a Jensen fan if you use his words to spread hate. Don’t call yourself a Jensen fan if you can’t accept the fact that he can have more than one friend in his life. Jensen is a lovely man. He’s always doing his best to help people. You’re not helping him out by spreading hate in his name.
And please don’t ever call yourself a J2 fan if you call their wives beards, make fun of their friends, spread rumors and lies about Misha, and occasionally hate on Jensen because he hangs out with Misha. Jensen loves Danneel. Jared loves Genevieve. They’re not secretly dating each other. They love all their friends, that includes Misha.
And please stop putting AKF or BE A MISHA in your profile if you’re doing any of these things.
According to a few anons I received after making this post, asking people to respect Jensen and Jared’s wives and friends is the same thing as forcing people to like Donald Trump or ship Cockles. I guess some people have no idea what the word respect means.
